The BoStrong Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. It was founded by the Oliver and Jones families, with the help of Paula Silverman, after the Olivers son (and Jones' future son-in-law), Bo Oliver, lost his battle with Ewings Sarcoma. Established in 2017, the BoStrong Foundation provides resources to help young adults with cancer explore holistic treatment options.
MISSION
To support holistic wellness for young adults fighting cancer and their loved ones through education, enrichment, engagement, and experience.
FOCUS
Teaming with Ulman Cancer Fund to provide a music healing space and supporting programing in their new "Ulman House", a home away from home, for young adult cancer patients and their caregivers in East Baltimore.
Educating young adult cancer patients and their caregivers about holistic treatment options and therapies.
Instilling confidence in those on the cancer journey that it's "OK" to take control of their treatment, ask questions and explore options.
Connecting patients with available resources to support them in their cancer battle.
