A Pebble Tossed is a novel set in a fictional Maryland town very similar to Forest Hill. It is the story of a father, of two young girls, who creates a treasure hunt for them to solve. However, when he goes out on his bicycle to hide the treasure, he doesn't come back. This sets the stage for a frantic search by his wife and daughters, who fear for his safety but unaware they may be in even more danger than he is....

Mark is a retired state employee who wrote his first novel at the age of 55. He lives with his wife Carmella on a dead end street within walking distance of DGB.
